VENUE OF THE MONTH
Stanbrook Abbey is located just outside of Malvern and was formerly the home to a closed order of Benedictine Nuns from 1838 – 2009. Since then the historic Abbey has been respectfully refurbished and is now a unique and quirky hotel and event venue.
On your arrival, you will certainly experience the “wow factor” and on checking in, the first breath taking view is down the Cloisters, a magnificent example of the “Pugin” architecture bathed in natural daylight, providing the perfect setting and invitation to explore this fabulous venue further. With an abundance of reception rooms, the hotel offers some interesting spaces to hold meetings, private dinners or to just simply relax.
With plenty of outside space, including the beautiful, sacred and tranquil lavender garden it is also an ideal place for team events and outside drinks receptions.
The Thompson Dining Hall and St. Anne’s Hall provide historic, ambient meeting space when you are looking for that “something different”, with capacities from 60 - 180. For the larger events the Pavillion can accommodate 300 guests for a dinner.
